Purpose

Glorify God

We want to give glory to God in "all of life."

"In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16

"You should love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." Deuteronomy 6:5

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship." Romans 12:1

 
Be Doers of the Word

Do what Jesus did and share the hope we have in him.

"But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves." James 1:22

 
Train in Righteousness

The scriptures are for "all of life." We can learn together how to live for Christ with our lives and in every part of life.

"All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

 
Show Compassion

We want to show compassion by following Jesus’ example, serving our community and each other where we work, play and live.

"Love as I have loved you." John 15:12

"By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Galatians 6:10

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." Matthew 9:36
